Picturae is the international market leader in digitization, management and storage of digital cultural heritage and (natural) historical material, such as herbaria, manuscripts, photos, film and audio. The company has attractive national and international customers, such as Amsterdam City Archives, MoMa, UNESCO, Smithsonian Institute, The Frick Collection and the Van Gogh Museum.
Picturae has its own in-house development team that offers solutions for online access to the digital material of its customers. In addition to the headquarters in Heiloo, the organization has a branch in New York.
In 2018, management and Karmijn took over the company from the former shareholders. Our goal is to support the current management with further international expansion and innovation.
