Karmijn Kapitaal has invested in UniKidz, a unique childcare organization that encourages the development of children's and young adults' talents. UniKidz achieves this through various programs focused on sports, creativity, science, and skills. With Karmijn Kapitaal, UniKidz aims to strengthen and expand its offering.

Karmijn Kapitaal has purchased a majority stake in InvesTree. InvesTree invests in the conservation and management of trees through, among other things, tree inspections, growth- and transplantability research. Reliable data and specialist knowledge are important aspects. Together with Karmijn Kapitaal, InvesTree aims to secure tree quality, necessary for our quality of life in the Netherlands and beyond.

Investment fund Karmijn Kapitaal made a substantial investment in IT company BPI. Technology company BPI specializes in identification applications for various Dutch government services, the National Police, border control and health care institutions,  as well as companies like KPN, Kuehne+Nagel and Secure Logistics. BPI sought investors to help keep pace with the rapidly changing market and with this investment, the company can accelerate its growth autonomously and pursue a number of strategic takeovers.

Karmijn Kapitaal, the Dutch PE fund investing in firms with diverse management teams and those open to diversifying, has received B Corp certification. With this certification, Karmijn Kapitaal is now part of a global community of companies that meet the highest standards of social and sustainable impact.

Karmijn Kapitaal has received a €15 million investment from the European Investment Fund (EIF). EIF, already a major investor in Karmijn Kapitaal’s Fund I and II, is now also part of the third fund with a target size of €100 million.

Tover, known for its healthcare product Tovertafel (Magic Table), is joining forces with private equity fund Karmijn Kapitaal, with the aim of expanding internationally. In particular, the company sees opportunities in the U.S., where it showed its products to the general public at CES in early January.

It was signed today that as part of Invest International business strategy to support SMEs, the company, which recently joined forces with the Regional Development Agencies ROMs and partnered with Atradius Dutch State Business, is now announcing an investment in Karmijn Kapitaal Fund III Cooperatief U.A. (“Karmijn Kapitaal Fund III”) to support Dutch SMEs in their international expansion, specifically into emerging markets.

Karmijn Kapitaal, the first Dutch private equity fund focusing on diversity and inclusion, announced Brigitte van der Maarel as Managing Partner as of October 1. Van der Maarel will lead Karmijn Kapitaal as Managing Partner in its new phase of growth and investments.
